Tobias Kruse is a photographer. He works worldwide on personal artistic projects as well as on assignments for magazines, institutions and independents.

Tobias was born in Mecklenburg, Northeast Germany, where he also spent his youth. At the age of 20 (and roughly 20 years ago) he moved to Berlin and worked as a graphic designer for a couple of years. From 2005 till 2007 he studied photography at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie with Prof. Ute Mahler and attended the Masterclass of Prof. Arno Fischer from 2008 till 2009. He joined the photographer's agency Ostkreuz in march 2011. Since 2017 Tobias teaches photography at Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie.

When not out taking pictures he spends most of his time with his children and/or his friends and/or the children of his friends and/or the friends of his children.
